Dr. Sarah Salim is a graduate of Benedictine University, earning her Bachelor of Science degree. Additionally, she graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry as a Doctor of Optometry, and received her Masters in Public Health from Benedictine University. During her time at Optometry school, Dr. Salim was awarded the J. Pat Cummings Scholarship and was president of Gold Key International Optometric Society. Dr. Salim has completed the following clinical rotations:

· Indianapolis Eye Care Center, Indianapolis, IN
· Bloomington Clinic, Bloomington, IN
Dr. Salim joined Illinois Eye Center in September 2017. She is licensed to perform primary care optometry, including the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. Additionally, Dr. Salim has completed additional training to allow her to provide Scleral Contact Lens care to her patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Salim enjoys roller blading, being at the gym, traveling, and cooking new recipes. She loves spending time with her family and friends – especially her husband, son, and cat, Baba. Dr. Salim resides in Peoria.
