What is an Oculoplastic Surgeon?

Oculoplastic Surgeons are ophthalmologists who have additional, specialized training in plastic surgery of the region around the eye.  They repair eyelids, tear drainage system damage, and also focus on the bones and other structures around the eye.  In the office, they perform medical injections around the eyes and face to improve the function of facial structures.
