Dr. Min-Kyu Han is a fellowship-trained physician specializing in the diseases of the retina including Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Detachment and Retinal Vascular Diseases.  He completed his internship at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina, followed by residency at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center. Dr. Han continued with subspecialty training in Retina at the Bert M. Glaser National Retina Institute in Maryland. He is board certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Han has served as a clinical instructor at the George Washington University Ophthalmology Retina Clinic, as a sub-investigator in several clinical trials and has been published in Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology, the journal of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.

Dr. Han resides in the Peoria area along with his wife and daughter.
