Aaron Holmes, OD

Dr. Aaron Holmes is a dedicated Optometrist who has received comprehensive training in providing primary care for a wide range of eye diseases and conditions. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Optometry in Downers Grove, IL. Dr. Holmes also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS, and an Associate of Science from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston, MS.

Prior to joining Illinois Eye Center, Dr. Holmes gained diverse experience including positions at North Suburban Vision Consultants in Deerfield, IL, Wichita Optometry in Wichita, KS, and the Bob Michel VA Outpatient Clinic in Peoria. Throughout his career, Dr. Holmes has also gained extensive experience in a variety of optometric services, including disease management and comprehensive eye exams.

Dr. Holmes collaborates closely with ophthalmologists to ensure the best outcomes for his patients. In time outside the clinic, Dr. Holmes enjoys activities outdoors, including running, hiking, and biking.
