Christian M. Briggs, MD

Dr. Christian Briggs is a comprehensive Ophthalmologist who has obtained extensive training in providing primary care for all diseases and conditions of the eye, including cataract and LASIK surgery. Earning his MD from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN, he also holds a BS in Physics from Indiana University’s Bloomington campus, with minors in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology. Dr. Briggs completed his residency at the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY, before joining Illinois Eye Center. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. Dr. Briggs puts excellent patient care first, working toward the best outcomes for his patients. He resides in the Peoria area along with his wife and daughters. In his spare time, Dr. Briggs enjoys carpentry, SCUBA diving, travel, and reading classic science fiction.
