Elizabeth Eyler Allen, OD

Dr. Elizabeth Eyler Allen is a graduate of Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, minoring in Biochemistry and Spanish. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Dr. Eyler Allen completed residency in the Veterans Affairs Health Care System in Lexington, KY as well as clinical rotations with Veterans Affairs Health Care System, Optometric Care, Inc., Illinois Eye Institute, and Pierce Vision Specialists.

Dr. Eyler Allen joined Illinois Eye Center in 2023 after 8 years of practice in the Galesburg area and sees patients in our Washington and Pekin clinics. She is licensed to perform primary care optometry, including the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, post-operative care, and specialty contact lens fittings.

Dr. Eyler Allen is a lifetime member of the Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, Illinois Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.

In her free time, Dr. Eyler Allen enjoys travel, 3D printing, laser engraving, and art in both traditional and digital forms. She resides in the Peoria area with her husband.
